
He was born in Beaune in 1880, where his father Louis François Perdrier had established his wine business in 1878.
After a glorious army career as captain and WW1 hero, Pierre-Louis moved to Paris the develop the family business specializing in the sales of wine to the greatest palaces and restaurants.
In 1954, he joined forces with his cousin André Boisseau, head of Patriarche Père et Fils, to develop a range of high-end sparkling wines for hotels and restaurants, under the eponymous brand name "Louis Perdrier".

Our white grapes come from the most beautiful vineyards, and our base wines are carefully chosen and assembled.
We then incorporate a liqueur de tirage (made of sugar, yeast, and wine), triggering the second fermentation and foam creation.
Over several months, the wine improves, gradually developing its aromas and fine, light bubbles.
All along the way, our cellar masters do their best to ensure that our wines are of impeccable quality, guaranteeing refinement and a consistent flavor.
